I’ve been reading a lot about personal branding, but I’m unsure if it’s truly necessary. I mostly focus on building my company’s name, and I feel my own profile is secondary. Do clients really care about the individual behind the business, or should I keep all efforts directed at the corporate brand?

That’s a great question! Personal branding is definitely worth the effort, even if your main focus is on building your company’s reputation. Clients often connect more strongly with the people behind the business than the corporate identity alone,it builds trust and relatability. Think of it like writing an international business personal statement: you’re not just listing achievements, but showing your vision, values, and what makes you stand out. In the same way, your personal brand communicates the “why” behind your business, which can be just as powerful as the brand itself.
